Managed Print Consultant

Brief description:

As a Managed Print Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and meeting with decision-makers to analyse the customer's requirements by performing a printer fleet assessment. This is a value sell of an intangible service offering where you will be using a consultative, customer-focused sales approach that will be unique to our industry and that sets us apart. You will be expected to meet or exceed the projected targets in terms of sales and profitability, as well as meet the sales activity and accurate forecasting requirements.

The New Business Team is responsible for producing high-quality opportunities and appointments for the sales team. The position, based in Baildon, is ideal for a candidate who is already working in telesales, but looking for progression with a well-established company in a fast paced industry.

The successful candidate will join a growing team and be working towards agreed targets and profitability goals. The candidate should be confident, articulate and driven. An interest in technology would be advantageous.

Daily responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Prospect new and existing clients through cold and warm lead generation whilst ccontinually increasing the sales pipeline.

  • Present and sell Print and software solutions.

  • Work with clients to understand and identify their objectives and needs while aligning our products and services where business opportunities exist.

  • Perform printer audit assessments through a consultative customer-focused sales approach.

  • Provide pre/post-sales support, demonstrate solution offering, perform business analysis, write business solutions proposals, and implement print management solutions.

  • Develop strong relationships with clients and deliver high levels of client care.

  • You will be required to follow company procedure in line with the companies managed print process

Required skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications:

  • 5+ years business-to-business field sales experience

  • Print /Copier / Document Solutions Industry experience preferred.

  • Strong client-facing skills and effective selling to an executive, owner, and or decision maker with a consultative approach.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Possess professional presentation and organisational skills.

  • Ability to successfully work autonomously while demonstrating excellent time management skills.

  • Experience in complete solution sales, preferred

  • Understand the competitive marketplace, products, and trends in the printer service business

Assistant Buyer Role

Brief description:

As assistant buyer you will purchase goods, materials, and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, considering price, quality, and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply with best end user experience.

Product knowledge within the IT, electronic office supplies and stationery market is essential.

General and Task Management:

  • Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.

  • Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations.

  • Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities.

  • Work closely with others in the purchasing team and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements.

  • Prepare and raise purchase orders and invoices.

  • Build, maintain and manage relationships with other departments via good communications.

  • Contact suppliers via email and phone to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with staff, stakeholders, and suppliers.

  • Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets.

Sales Account Executive

Key Objectives:

  • Overachieve your sales, GP & GP% targets

  • Constantly grow your account base through making high quality proactive sales calls

  • Ensure that your activity levels are as high as possible

  • Expand the product range sold into every account

  • Sell own brand at every opportunity

  • Always increase the number of ordering accounts in your base

  • Always overachieve your minimum standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business:

    • Ensure that you prospect for new business every day

    • Identify and focus your efforts on prospects with potential

    • ABC – Always Be Closing!

    • After opening a new account, ensure that you then develop it effectively

  • Business Development:

    • Increase the product range sold into the accounts using product class opportunities

    • Increase the number of DMCs in each account through account penetration - ensure that you ‘bottom’ every account in terms of branches, regional offices & head offices

    • Identify and act on accounts currently on contract with a competitor. Liaise with your Manager to ensure that a competitive tender bid is submitted

  • Key Accounts:

    • Fully understand the purchasing structure within your key accounts

    • Never lose a key account – stay close to your DMCs and always encourage honest communication

    • Effectively manage & develop contract customers, ensuring that every trading opportunity is maximised & leakage is minimal

  • Communication & Attitude:

    • Ensure that you are always motivated, driven and success oriented. This should be reflected in your upbeat approach to every day and your involvement in the success of your team

    • Ensure that you play your part in making sure that there is a positive, friendly and motivated atmosphere within your team

    • Communicate openly & honestly with your management team, and always look to develop your skills & responsibilities

    • 4 Always know where both you and your team are against target – it is your definitive measure of success.

Meet one of ACS’ most popular team members, Frosty, a Cockapoo who joined ACS in October 2019 as ACS’ first office dog. He lives with Technology Account Manager, Chris Gray, who brings him to work with him everyday. ACS’ers take it in turns to take Frosty for walks and play. He likes to wander around the office and take naps in the sun and under warm blankets.
