Print Account Manager (ACS Print)

Role overview

As a Print Account Manager within ACS’s Print division, you will manage and grow a portfolio of printed accounts from end to end. You will ensure exceptional customer service, seamless project delivery, and commercial growth while acting as the key liaison between clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of print clients, managing each project from brief to production and delivery.

  • Oversee proofing and pre-press processes, including artwork checks (bleed, trim, colour profiles, resolution) to ensure fast and accurate sign-off.

  • Lead regular customer review meetings, gather requirements, set expectations, and resolve queries promptly.

  • Raise job tickets, confirm specifications, book production slots, track order progress, and ensure timely delivery.

  • Support quality assurance activities such as colour matching, press passes, and coordinating any required remedial actions.

  • Identify and convert sales opportunities within existing accounts to maximise revenue and margin.

  • Generate new business through prospecting, frameworks, referrals, events, and targeted outreach.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

  • Analyse market and competitor activity to help shape profitable commercial strategies.

  • Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and tender submissions to ensure value and compliance.

  • Collaborate closely with design, production, operations, finance, and sales teams to deliver excellent outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, track pipeline activity, produce forecasts, and report on account performance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in print account management, project management, or a similar client-facing role.

  • Strong understanding of pre-press processes, artwork checks, and production workflows.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

  • Commercial awareness and confidence in identifying and developing growth opportunities.

  • Proficient in CRM systems and general administrative tools.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
