Our third CSR project involved helping Mayfield Girl’s School with their Education in the Digital Age event, designed to inspire young women into considering careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).

The impressive schedule featured a debate about the ethics of artificial intelligence with Dr Blay Whitby, a green-screen workshop with The Emmerdale Studio Experience, a coding workshop ran by the EXA Foundation and a Microbit programming workshop with Tablet Academy.

ACS volunteered to help Mayfield, one of our customers, organise the on-campus event after a conversation between Account Manager Tony Moore and the school’s IT buyer about another project ACS were working on, helping Mill View care home to regenerate their garden.
